A Poem About Rain
I miss you
More than you know
Or can ever imagine
Eyes blink open
Bright light blinks into eyes
Noises and people and places,
Everything, everyone, everywhere,
A myriad of distractions filling all the empty spaces.
Nervous fingers trace the spine.
Surely, this will lead near to divine
New tales of adventures to behold.
We shall journey until warm embraces us enfold.
Thoughts full of debating,
Spying from afar the tallest wall.
A mismatch of deliberating,
Could climb but oh, to risk the fall.
Waking up to see the sunrise
Do you believe your own blue eyes?
Every-time from birth to the next
Has had its reason, so say the texts.
In my daily ponderings,
Included in my wonderings
About those possibilities, how grand
If Alice should lead us down to Wonderland.
