The Moment of Everything by Shelly King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Honestly, this was such a fun audiobook. The main character is quite relatable and very realistic.
I love that her studies involved books and languages and libraries, and then she ended up in Silicon Valley, and then life pushed her back into a bookstore. It just shows how everything happens for a reason. I personally related to her because I’m also caught between computer languages and the online world, and foreign languages and fantasy worlds.
She goes on to find a very interesting book in the secondhand bookshop which leads to several more adventures and a fling that turns into more. She also makes new friends and receives some new opportunities.
An overall lovely read and a quite unique storyline. It was refreshing to read about adventures that exist in the real world and could actually happen.
