Girl Online On Tour by Zoe Sugg
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I was on holiday with my family in the Kruger Park (which involves a lot of driving) and this was my perfect form of entertainment.
I listened to the audio version of this book and it was so much easier to look for animals while listening, rather than reading a book.
Now to the book itself.
*SPOILER ALERT*
I quite enjoyed seeing the characters in a different environment that tested them and their bonds. It was quite an adventure and yet at the same time they still dealt with everyday, relatable problems.
Penny was not publishing her blogs, to escape from the public. That got to me a little. There have been times where I desperately want to write or say something but I was too afraid of the reactions of others.
Relationship problems and breakups were another theme. It was sad to see the characters that I fell in love with go through that, but it makes them a little more real. First love often leads to your first heartbreak.
Penny also made up with some friends who weren’t so nice before. I quite admire her for that, because I certainly would not have been able to do that if I was in her position.
She also fell in love with her passion again. Photography is her dream and eventually she figured out that she had to follow hers and not Noah’s dreams. An important lesson for many of us to learn.
The ending was very cute and emotional with everyone being on good terms again and the bad guy being caught.
Now on to the next one!
