Girl Online Going Solo by Zoe Sugg
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I absolutely loved this book. It was a really good addition to this series and I adore the ending.
As with the first two books, Zoe did a great job of including very helpful tips to deal with anxiety and I like that she added the character who struggles with stage fright. That’s a whole other part of anxiety and it was interesting to see the different approaches.
As usual there was some travelling which sounded amazing – Penny keeps going to all my dream locations and I’m a little bit jealous of a fictional character for that.
It was also really cool that this book is set during October and Halloween time which coincidentally is also when I read the book (or rather listened to it) and it really added to my experience of the story.
The pop culture references made me squeal a little bit too.
I’m happy that Penny has gone through a bit more self discovery and found her way. In the last book she was making that realization that she need to follow her own dream and it’s great to see that she did just that.
The ending is lovely and made me want to move to Brighton immediately. If this is the last book in the series, making it a trilogy, it’s a really great place to end. However, if the story continues, I would be excited to read the next books.
Overall, I hope Zoe continues to write, with this story or a new one. I’m excited to see what the future holds.
