Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

This one definitely made up for the other two in the trilogy! It also made me more excited for the rest of the series again.
The beginning kind of dragged on a bit, but the ending was worth the wait. A definite twist for the conclusion, but cleverly done. Tessa got such a bittersweet but very lovely ending. It made me warm on the inside.
Her relationship with Will and Jem is pretty relatable to anyone who has ever had feelings for two people at the same time. It’s a tad cliche but the resolution was unique.
This book is undoubtedly not one to be missed. I highly recommend pushing through the rest of the books, if only to get to this point.
We also figure out why Tessa is so special and why she has her powers. There was some foreshadowing, but ultimately her backstory is tragically amazing. Overall, I was quite pleased with how this book played out.
I have heard some whisperings of an additional Trilogy as a sequel to The Infernal Devices, and I’m curious about how that would play out, seeing as the ending was already perfect. (I do hope it won’t be a repeat of The Mortal Instruments’ second trilogy…)

This is my favorite series finale! It was spectacular. Also the sequel trilogy to this is going to star Will and Tessa’s kids! So Will, Jem, and Tessa won’t be the main characters. I can’t wait to read it!
