My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a slow start for me, but I devoured the story by the end of it.
I listened to the audio book of this story and I unexpectedly fell in love with the characters. I really enjoyed the twists and the romance.

It touches on a lot of real life issues and I can relate to many of them. I’m also a blogger with anxiety, so reading about how Penny handles some of her struggles helped me with some of my own. Zoella shares a lot of great tips on how to deal with panic attacks and anxiety, from breathing exercises to visualization.

I began to rethink how I’ve been handling life lately after making my way through this book. Problems won’t solve themselves, and we can’t run away from them.

I also like that she spoke about some social issues and what some LGBTQ friends may be going through at home.

Even though I didn’t think I would enjoy the story at the beginning because it seemed a bit odd, as soon as they left England it got a lot better. The excitement of a new romance and a new country is always great fun.

I haven’t read a book like this before and I’m glad it’s been written. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is struggling with anxiety or self esteem issues.

Immediately starting the next one!
