My sister has been begging me to listen to these audiobooks for the longest time. And I am very glad that she kept hounding me about it because I love this book.
Everyone knows I’m a sucker for fairytales and adaptions, and this is a perfect new world that interacts with fairytale characters.
Alex and Connor are relatable pre-teens and they find their way to the Land of Stories. They have their share of adventures and I would be lying if I said I didn’t envy them for it.
It reminds me of the tv series Once Upon a Time in that it allows real world people to interact with fairytale characters and essentially there are different realms – one where magic exists and our world.
Chris did an excellent job of making the characters his own and he created a very intricate fantasy world where they interact. I can’t wait to see what they get up to in the rest of the series.
