Making Snowballs

When I was still in South Africa (I’m back in Dubai again for those of you who don’t know), Mekayla and I spent an afternoon baking cupcakes. This is what followed:

My Inner Voice

Noises and people and places,

Everything, everyone, everywhere,

A myriad of distractions filling all the empty spaces.

The Night Rainbow by Claire King

I have been reading a few old books and listening to some ebooks. I decided I need to get back to a few reviews, and this is my latest read.

The story is written from the interesting perspective of five-year-old Pea. It’s refreshing to see the world through a child’s eyes. From picking fruit to having pet scorpions, all described in her dialogue with herself and her friends.

Becoming a Vegetarian

Well it’s been four months of being a successful herbivore. I really did not think that I would get this far. (Mekayla didn’t think I would last a month, but here I am).

Got Nerve?

This evening my parents and I watched the movie Nerve. It has one of my all time favourite actresses as the main lead (Emma Roberts), so naturally it was on my list of To Be Watched.

I don’t want to spoil anything but the movie had a few conceptsย in there that I want to discuss.

That Coffee and Page Smell

Nervous fingers trace the spine.

Surely, this will lead near to divine

New tales of adventures to behold.

We shall journey until warm embraces us enfold.
